This original 1960's era SchM41M (East German Designation) gas mask was based on the WWII Russian SM-1 gas mask. Similar to its WWII predecessor, the SchM41M used an encapsulating helmet design  face piece with two internal Tissot style tubes. Numerous variations of this mask were manufactured throughout eastern European Warsaw Pact countries for several decades.

These are genuine Russian surplus gas masks complete with original hose, canister, and carrying bag.
