SE400AT-2 Sea/Scott Full Face Gas Mask Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)

The respirator is microprocessor controlled and supplies positive-pressure breathing air even at very hard work. The SE400 features in-mask communication, a comprehensive warning system, and a usage log which can be downloaded to a personal computer for further analysis.

The unit offers considerably longer operation times than SCBAs. Keeps working for hours providing clean air at a rate of more that 400 l/min peak inhalation air flow. The SE400 is used by defense forces, police and rescue squads, first responders, domestic preparedness outfits, ambulance teams, paramedic and other world wide emergency personnel.

Includes: Full Face Respirator Mask; SE400AT-2 Powered Fan Unit; Air Supply Hose; Battery and Charger; Two (2) Domestic Preparedness NBC Filters; Ten (10) Pre-filters, Two (2) Pre-filter Caps; Voice Amplifier; Backpack harness & Belt Harness (a $160 value).

Condition: new, unused, out-of-box. May contain cosmetic flaws not adversely affecting effectiveness such as scratches on one or more pieces due to out-of-box storage. Note: Per the vendor, the small plastic clip on either side of the mouthpiece may be cracked or broken, but clips are only protective of the exhalation valves and should not compromise the safety or integrity of the mask. Reliability of batteries not guaranteed; batteries charged and appear full, but only used to power on and test equipment. Batteries not tested for duration.

The SE400 is not a continuous-flow respirator. Air passes through the filters only as you need it. That's why the SE400 uses 50% less filters on average, compared to other fan-driven respirators.

Know what's happening
With the SE400, you will always know that you are getting the protection you need. Visual and audible alarms alert you to any routine task (such as changing the battery), as well as other events that may require your attention.

Communication
Voice transmission is loud and clear. SE400 comes with a microphone in the mask and a powerful external loudspeaker.

Wear it the way you want
The SE400 can be worn on a backpack, waist harness or standard belt. Fit the hose over your shoulder or around your side.

Suitability
The SE400 can be worn inside suits of various materials, ranging from disposable dust suits to fully encapsulated gas suits. All suits can be pressurized by the SE400.
